Dominican

The Dominican Republic has the fastest growing economy in Latin America (*), even surpassing Panama. In 2015 the Dominican economy grew by 7%, according to data from the National Statistics Office of the Dom.

The country is located in the Caribbean in the center of the Antilles, with a territorial extension of 48,730 km² and a population of 10.5 million inhabitants in 2010. Its capital is Santo Domingo, with an estimated population of 3 million inhabitants.

With approximately 7.5 million tourists in 2019 (*), legislation that favors foreign investment and its privileged geographical location in the center of the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic is positioned as the preferred destination in the region for investors.
